30 Days Meme- Day 15- A Fanfiction
Day 15 → A fanfic
So, instead of reccing something or linking to a past one, I have just finished a new fic which I am posting here. This is a result of playing 16 hours of DragonAge for 2 days in a row and being sexually frustrated enough to daydream about something like this, then have a night dream as well. I am almost finished with my first play-through... I'm just entering the Fort at the end.
Title: A Lesson In Morals
Fandom/Characters: DragonAge: Origins - Alistair/Female City Elf Rogue Grey Warden
Rating: R
Word count: 2199
Warnings: Corporal Punishment, of course.
Also: SPOILERS for DragonAge. Specifically regarding Alistair's past, Arl Eamon in Redcliffe, and the City Elf Origin.
It had been a long grueling trail from the mountains beyond Haven Village back to Castle Redcliffe, but curing Arl Eamon of the assassin’s poison was worth more than the troubles the road had given. As my compatriots and I arrived back at camp, the mood was cheery, almost jovial. Everyone knew there was still much to be done, but the Arl was back in good health, which was a cause for minor celebration. There was not much ale to be had, especially with Oghren’s help in depleting it, but what little there was had been dispensed evenly and Leliana even consented to singing a few songs from Orlais.
During the pleasantries, I had slipped away from the group in order to conduct a little private business with Bodhan. I had been a thief my entire life and though I was now wearing the mantle of Grey Warden, my pilfering instincts were hard to deny. Most of my companions tended to disapprove of the manner in which I acquired things, so I tried my best to keep it private.
However, this was becoming more and more difficult, as Alistair had caught my eye and we were spending a lot of our private time together. We had shared many things about ourselves; him being a bastard child and heir to the throne of Denerim, and my sordid upbringing in the Elven Alienage of the same city. He understood my tendencies, but having been raised in the Chantry, he had received a number of lessons in morals that I never had. This led to his natural displeasure with my sticky fingers.
At first I had tried to curb my instinctual desire to acquire things. Alistair’s approval meant more to me than a few coppers here and there, but as time progressed and we became more comfortable with each other, I found myself falling back into my old ways.
Tonight I wanted to divest myself of the odds and ends I’d picked up as quickly as possible, since these were things I’d taken from Arl Eamon’s estate. Alistair had told me how Arl Eamon had acted so graciously on his behalf when he was younger, so I figured the other Grey Warden would not be very pleased to know that I was stealing from his benefactor.
I picked a moment when everyone was well entranced with Leliana’s fine singing to blend into the shadows and sneak my way over to where Bodhan was talking with his boy. I felt a small pang of guilt when I allowed myself to be seen by the dwarven pair, giving the elder dwarf somewhat of a start.
“Oh, Grey Warden, I didn’t see you there! What can I do for you?”
“I have a few things I’d like to sell you, if you’re up for a little business right now?”
“Always in the mood for business, no matter the time.”
I pulled out the items I intended on selling him from my backpack and we were just starting to negotiate prices when a familiar voice spoke to me.
“There you are, I was wondering where you’d gone off to.” Alistair walked over to us, smiling. “You should come back by the fire… isn’t it a bit late for business?”
I felt my face grow hot from a blush as Alistair’s smile faltered when he gazed at the assorted daggers and even a small buckler I was in the process of selling.
“That’s Arl Eamon’s standard.” His voice was a mixture of comprehension and disappointment. He nodded slowly and turned away to walk back to the others.
“Alistair, wait.” I hoped he would be willing to listen to the explanation I really didn’t have, and felt a small amount of relief when he stopped. This was quickly replaced with anxiety when he did not turn around to face me. “I… I’m sorry.”
I watched him stiffen at that and wondered what he was going to do next. He seemed to be collecting his thoughts as I waited, watching his muscular back tense underneath the soft cloth of his shirt. Bodhan was silent next to me, eyes darting back and forth between us, wondering if he was going to be purchasing the items or not.
Finally, Alistair turned around to look at me. His expression was one of disappointment, though I could not ignore the tenseness of his shoulders which gave me the impression that he was attempting to hide his anger.
“That’s it, is it?” He asked, keeping his voice steady. I tried to maintain eye contact with him, but couldn’t, averting my eyes to his boots instead. Though he had been more than willing to allow me the reins in leading the expedition we were on, he wasn’t devoid of dominance in his personality. It just had never been required of him, so he tended to take the easy route and follow more often than not. But I knew him better than that. He had the blood of a King within him, and he could show it when he wanted to.
“…could we not go somewhere more private to discuss this?” I asked, my gaze drifting to the dwarves. Bodhan quickly started polishing something, attempting to pretend that he hadn’t been staring with rapt attention, while his son was trying to smash a bug into the ground with his thumb.
Alistair sighed. “I suppose.”
I nodded and followed the man I cared for so much at his side. We walked around to the other edge of camp, keeping close to the festivities while maintaining a modicum of privacy. We ended up behind the tents, where Alistair crossed his arms and looked at me. “Well?”
“You were correct. I took those things from Arl Eamon’s estate.” I swallowed, feeling my mouth go dry in anxiety as his expression went darker. “I’m sorry, Alistair, honestly. I didn’t think how you might view my activities until we had made it back to camp, and by then my only thoughts were to get rid of them.”
“So you attempted to deceive me?” He accused, his eyes digging into me as his neck tensed.
“Not exactly… a lie of omission, I suppose. I intended for you to not find out, but if you did, I would not and have not attempted to dissuade you from the truth.”
He thought about that. “True enough, I suppose.” Then he sighed. “But really. We’ve discussed this, haven’t we? I know you told me about how life in the Alienage was tough but you’re not in the Alienage anymore, and you haven’t been for a while now.”
I nodded, glancing at him every so often, but concentrating mostly upon a small patch of grass behind his feet.
“You know I care for you, deeply. But things like this… I cannot allow you to steal things from good people.”
His voice took a dimension of authority that sent a shiver down my spine. I nodded.
“I know you’re still trying to adjust. I am too. But this has to stop. Since you cannot seem to do it yourself, I will help you.”
I looked up at him, this time with my own eyebrow raised. His expression had changed from disappointed to determined.
“I love you. If you’re willing to let me help you, you must trust me. Do you?”
“I trust my life to you, Alistair.”
“Good, I’m pleased to hear you say that. Now come here.”
As I approached, Alistair propped one knee upon a wooden crate that was next to the tent. He smiled at me reassuringly, then placed a hand around my bicep and guided me over his knee. I was clever enough to have deduced what he intended as soon as he put his knee up, but the realization of being bent over the strong leg caused a small amount of defiance to bubble up.
“Hey!” I squirmed and attempted to stand back up, but he had more leverage than I did and shoved me back over until my rear was pointed to him and my toes could barely skim the ground. These forced reminders of just how much bigger humans were than elves were getting less pleasant every time.
“Trust me, my dear. A little lesson in morals will hopefully allow you to think before you act next time.”
“But the others will be able to hear!”
“I’m sure you can use that silver-tongue of yours to shut them up if they say anything.” His soft chuckle made me squirm harder, but I knew there was no use. He had size and strength over me, and though I was very good at getting out of tight spots, a part of me knew I needed this. I felt a hand untie the lace that kept my leggings around my hips and whimpered when I felt the cool night air breeze past my mostly bared rear end. Alistair must have decided that the undergarments I wore allowed enough access to my cheeks, because he mercifully allowed me to keep those on. Not that they would be any protection against him, since they barely covered the separation between my cheeks.
I felt his hand softly run over the skin of my rear, causing it to contract in a series of goose bumps. He seemed to be distracted from his professed task by this, as he pet me again and the feeling was actually quite a turn on. We had yet to sleep together, so this was the most he had seen of my body and seemed to be enjoying himself. And though he was still completely clothed, the thin cloth that separated my hip from his crotch was not doing much to conceal his arousal.
Then, just as I was starting to really desire his hand exploring my nether regions, he pulled it back and swung it hard, resulting in a solid whack against my almost completely bared buttock. I jerked and gasped at the pain blossoming, but had no time to contemplate what had happened as another solid spank connected with my rear. He continued the hard loud smacks, painting my bottom red with his hand, and I squirmed and whimpered.
I couldn’t believe how this burning sensation in my rear was affecting me. I, a Grey Warden having been through multiple battles and acquiring many wounds with astounding resilience, was starting to whimper loudly from a simple hand-spanking. Granted, my embarrassment and remorse were probably contributing factors, but before I could understand why, I felt hot tears forming and falling.
“Alistair… I’m sorry!” I gasped, his hand still pounding a stinging cadence upon my reddened cheeks.
“Sorry for what, my dear?” He asked. I marveled at how matter-of-fact he could sound while his arm tirelessly spanked my upturned rear. He shifted from my bottom and concentrated now on the spot just below my cheeks and at the top of my thighs, causing my cries to go more desperate.
“OowwW! For stealing from Arl Eamon!! Ow! Alistair, please! Please forgive me!” I was squirming desperately in futile attempts to dodge the incoming hand, but he was expertly planting his smacks exactly where he wanted them to be. I knew through his concentrated effort upon my sit-spot that I would not be able to sit comfortably for days without remembering this lesson.
Then, just like he started, he stopped spanking me and again ran his hand over my burning reddened flesh. This time the rough calluses of his sword-hand tended to reignite my bottom instead of soothe it and I whimpered.
“There, there. You’ll be alright. I forgive you. But make no mistake; I intend to cure your fingers of their stickiness. Do you understand?”
“I understand.” I replied, still sniffling softly. He let me up, then, and hugged me to him, enveloping me with his body and warmth. I hugged him back, tightly, basking in the affection, and he leaned down to kiss me.
After a moment, he leaned over to pull up my leggings and I tied them, wincing at the rough leather rubbing at my bottom. Alistair couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped from him at the sight of my face scrunched up in discomfort and I pouted.
“Oh, now, don’t be like that. I went easy on you! The priestesses at the Chantry were ruthless with their canes. I could have made you fetch me a switch, you know.”
His eyes were bright with laugher as I rolled mine. “I could have refused.”
“And then you’d be much sorrier, wouldn’t you?” He kissed me again and rubbed my backside over my leggings.
“…it felt really nice at the beginning, though.” I said, looking up into his eyes. He raised an eyebrow slightly, and I smiled as his cheeks colored.
“It did. For me as well. …I must admit I’ve never done this before.”
“What, spanked someone? Well you did a good job of it, I promise.” That made him laugh, of which I was glad, since he seemed to not be as anxious.
“I would like you to join me in my tent.” He said and I nodded.
“I would like that too.” He smiled and I knew I would be remembering this night forever.
