30 Days Meme- Day 1

So I'm a lame-o late to the party type person and finally decided to start this 30 day meme everyone seems to be doing.

I am planning on making a real RL post soon, because my weekend was interesting, but not tonight. I'm too tired and too jazzed about RDJ being awesome at the Golden Globes.


Day 01 → Your favorite song

My song tastes change constantly. I don't think I could ever pick a favorite song of my entire life. I have a collection of songs that are my favorite in the way that they're meaningful to me and to what I was doing at the time they were important in my life. I suppose the most current of this list would be Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance on the Black Parade album.

I started liking this song mostly because of the music. It appealed to my aesthetic senses first, then I listened to the lyrics and for the time I was in my life, they really resonated with me.

I sort of became obsessed with listening to it and now it is the first song I think about when I think of my summer. I have memories listening to it while driving across Utah, while driving to work in Santa Maria, and while driving to a late-night bonfire on Avila Beach. I miss CA.
