Day 22 → A website

http://wwww.inbflat.net/ Simply amazing. Pretty sure I pulled this from Tim Hutton's Twitter, but I can't remember now. It is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen on the internet. I also like it because it reminds me of my love for music, which I have never really felt was "legit" because I've known so many music majors and I wasn't one. They just had a tendency to make me feel like I wasn't good enough to truly enjoy music, or that I don't know what real music is. This link reminded me that A) I'm not in that situation anymore and what they think doesn't fucking matter and B) I really love music.

Day 04 - Your favorite show ever

Hardest question ever. I seriously cannot just pick one. Firefly, The West Wing, Angel, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Red Dwarf... there have been SO MANY. I can't do it. And since I've just gotten into Leverage, I want to include that, but I can't seperate myself from it enough to determine whether it's really going to be a forever-keeper, or whether it's a passing obsession... Stupid hard questions.

OMG. That is the coolest damn thing I have seen EVAR. Totally sharing on fb :D

BTW, I don't particularly care if any of your music major friends read this. Music is not about exclusivity. Quite the opposite. The greatest thing about it is that it can be shared, experienced and enjoyed by anyone and everyone, no matter what other boundaries or differences might exist between them. Don't ever let any uppity music majors tell you different. You have just as much of a right to love music legitimately as they do. (They can just BS about it more and use lots more jargon ;) And I can say that because I'm one of them! Besides, who likes jargon anyway?)

Isn't it though? I loved it.

Really they weren't overt about it, so I don't "blame" them... it was more of an unspoken discomfort I would get when they would speak of music in such specific terms that made me feel like I only had a child's understanding of the subject and was not allowed to join in conversation. My vehemence was really due to my personal realization that I am holding myself down, still, and need to let go of how I used to act in order to mature further. ;)

And really, it was only one person who is the biggest music snob I've ever met... though a really nice guy.

Hmm. Well then, just ask what they're talking about. If he's a nice guy, he'll love to explain, especially if there's any music ed nerdity going on :)
